![]() I hope this might help others get their Reolink cameras working (which I'm really happy with btw!) at 720p until a newer firmware allows for better resolution to be used, really making the most of these devices. With this config I could use the higher resolution, but motion detection did not work at all Oh and for info, in the Reolink client I have the cameras set to 720p, 25fps, record audio, bit rate 5120 and H.264 profile set to high.Īs an aside, I had more luck getting the cameras to stay connected in SS by using the "Reolink" profile, RLC-410 as the model and port 80. SS obeys the motion detection zones I have defined in the Reolink app, so I am happy for now until the firmware allows me to crank the resolution back up to 1080p or 1440p. It does strike me as an SS issue, but maybe it's the way the cameras encode that SS is having issues with?Īnyway, with the ONVIF profile in SS set to 720, and quality of 6, it all seems to be working great. I have since had this confirmed by a Reolink tech saying they know about it and are hoping to allow greater resolutions with QNAP and SS in a new firmware. Having messed about with the H.264 profile settings and bitrates, it seems the only way to get this working right now, is to use the ONVIF profile (port 9000) and limit the resolution to 720p. 3x RLC-410 cameras were randomly disconnecting from SS, playback would stall for 10-30 seconds at a time, but everything was great in the Reolink PC or Android App. I was having the same symptoms as the OP. For those with Reolink cameras, I have some sort of working solution to this issue.
